An Actionist is a phrase we've coined that describes someone who takes deliberate, positive action to challenge bullying, support others, and create safer spaces for all. If you've got the sticker, you've already started. Now make it official.
What it Means to Act On It
Bullying doesn't stop on its own. It stops when someone decides to do something about it - in the moment, in their school, in their workplace, in their community.
That's what being an Actionist is about. Not standing by. Stepping up. Safely.
You don't need a cape or a title. You just need to notice, and act. That might mean speaking up when you see something wrong, checking in on someone who's doing it tough, or simply being the kind of person others feel safe around.
Our research shows 7 in 10 Australians have experienced bullying.
Every Actionist who steps up changes that story for someone.
The Pledge
Sign up below and join a growing movement of Australians choosing action over silence. It takes two minutes. It matters a lot longer than that.
Not sure what to write? Here's what other Actionists have pledged:
- "I'll check in on a mate who seems to be doing it tough."
- "I'll speak up if I see someone being excluded."
- "I'll teach my kids what it means to stand up for others."
Now it's your turn.
I pledge to be an Actionist. I will take deliberate, positive action to challenge bullying, support others, and help create safer spaces for everyone.
Actionists under 18 won't be added to Bully Zero email communications. Your pledge still counts.
